DESCRIPTION:Third Thursdays- Transit Rides to Dragoon Brewing Company \nCome out with your favorite bike! Meet at The MSA Annex at 530p and grab a pre-ride bev at Westbound. Stop in the shop to say hi and psych up the crew. Around 6:00p we’ll take a leisurely cruise over to Dragoon where the beers are fresh and so are the bartenders! Your first beer (n/a or 0.0%) is a buck! Bring a helmet\, lights\, water and cash. Food trucks might be on-site.

DESCRIPTION:Build-A-Bike Class\n\n\n\nEver wonder what makes a bike roll\, turn\, and stop? Over 5 sessions\, learn how to properly disassemble\, clean and completely rebuild a bicycle. In pairs\, students take apart and rebuild a BICAS project bicycle. Learn to rebuild bearing systems\, replace cables and housing for brakes and shifters\, install chains and properly adjust derailleurs. \nThis is a beginner-intermediate class. Recommended age for the class is 16 and up. For younger students\, check out our Youth Earn-a-Bike. \n*Students can pay 50% of the registration fee with Work Trade credit. Work Trade is earned at BICAS during normal open hours. Register in-person at the front desk. Upon completion of this fun course\, each student receives a $60 BICAS credit to spend on shop time to fix up their own bicycle. \nCourse Outline: \n\nIntroduction to BICAS\nFix a Flat\, tubes and tires\nHubs\nHeadsets\nBottom Brackets\nBasic wheel truing\nBrakes\nDrive-train and shifting\nTest ride!\n\nGet ready for that great Tucson riding weather!
