SUMMARY:THE SPIRIT WORLD 100
DESCRIPTION:Dear gravel riders\, soul surfers & anyone who uses the bike to escape time…  \nWe are Heidi Rentz & Zander Ault \nWe’re co-creators\, gravel cyclists\, chefs & party animals. We’re so freaking excited to see you in Patagonia\, Arizona for a gravel road race that has inspired every aspect of our lives.   \nThe Spirit World 100 is a down home gravel road expedition that has been in creation for 4 years. We’ve been exploring the outer reaches of our abilities to be spirited entrepreneurs in an attempt to bring something from another universe to the event scene. Our main goal is to connect more people through our contagious love for riding bikes\, cooking and throwing a mean party. Now\, we just need all you special humans to bring your creative and powerful energy to the desert southwest.   \nThe Spirit World 100 and 50-mile course options are 2 of our most coveted and adored gravel routes in southern Arizona. Each course option is a reflection of the thousands of hours we’ve spent soaring through the San Rafael Valley since 2015. In order to showcase one of the Nations best remote and purely quiet destinations\, we have partnered with the Town of Patagonia to invite riders and their families to the high desert. Obsessed with the landscape of the borderlands region\, we’ve studied the maps of this area and are working closely with regional government\, land management and private entities to make this place more accessible for the entire gravel cycling community. We want to help redefine the future of outdoor recreational tourism in the greater Tucson and borderlands region of The Copper State and The Spirit World 100 will be a key player in this mission.    \nIf we said this wasn’t a race\, we’d just sound ridiculous. Any time you place 100’s of riders on the start line\, it’s a race! This race is a place to find the answer to why challenging ourselves in unfamiliar conditions is so sought after. We’re only human and we were put on this earth to move\, sweat\, be affected and feel the power of confidence that our raw and natural surroundings can instill. The Spirit World 100 is a celebration of exactly what you’re searching for every time you jump on your bike. You’re welcomed in\, wholeheartedly.  \nTucson\, Arizona is our home. When we aren’t there\, we’re hosting private gravel and road cycling camps around the globe. For sometime now\, we’ve wanted to create an event that everybody felt comfortable committing to. Cycling camps aren’t for everybody. They may never meet your personal schedule or provide enough of what you’re looking for in a vacation. The Spirit World 100 has been designed to deliver fun\, challenge and growth oriented human interaction over the course of 4 days. We couldn’t be more excited to show you Patagonia\, Arizona and the San Rafael Valley. See you in The Spirit World! \nTeeth to the wind\,

SUMMARY:Dirty Bunny
DESCRIPTION:drinking’ of the greatest events of all time. The Dirty Bunny is everything good about Mountain Biking all distilled into an incredible weekend. It’s a drinking ride with a bike problem. It is a race. It is timed. There are winners. But if that is all you care about\, it might not be the event for you (but it might). It’s about the community. Gathering with like minded people in the desert and having a great time. There is drinking and other mind altering good times (riding bikes can take you to magical and mysterious places). People dress in costumes. Some even wear spandex. \nIn many ways it is 24 hours in the Old Pueblo for the locals\, but with a small entry fee of $10 to cover incidentals and a 6 pack of craft beer. That is CRAFT beer with an F. Not any of that F’ing CRAP beer. Don’t be showing up with your PBR for the entry fee… but feel free to bring your bud light\, PBR or  dos equis for the lush bunny. What’s the lush Bunny you ask? Why that would be the same race\, but with the consumption of a can of piss water each lap. \nSo\, if you think you are one of the The cool cats\, The in crowd\, Those in the Knows\, this might be the event for you. \nA few videos from past events to give you a vibe. \nhttps://www.facebook.com/damion.alexander.9/videos/2069049946801997 \nhttps://www.facebook.com/damion.alexander.9/videos/196962712478668

SUMMARY:Royal Gorge Six and Twelve
DESCRIPTION:May 18th 2024\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Royal Gorge Six & Twelve is arguably the most beautiful course on the Zia Rides calendar with views\, views and more views. On one side\, you look out over the fruited Great Plains of America. On another side\, you have fantastic views of the Royal Gorge and all the way down to the Arkansas River below. And don’t forget the snow capped 14ers in every other direction from the venue. To say the spot is pretty is an understatement. \nRiders can choose from either a Mountain Bike \noption and compete as a solo\, duo\, or team. The course is an intermediate 10 mile. loop of fun and fast singletrack that alternates between old school rocky singletrack and flowly machine built dips and curves. It is a true mountain bikers course with plenty of variation and views to enjoy. Did we mention that Cañon City has a professional trail builder who adds new trails and keeps the current ones in tip top shape? All of this is to say that you and your crew are going to get in some killer riding. \nTo top things off\, Cañon City is a little hidden gem on the front range. In addition to having a lovely downtown\, there’s tons of fun stuff to do and other great riding in the area with spots like Royal Gorge Bridge just minutes away. Bring your crew and camp for the whole weekend at the Royal Gorge East Ridge Campground\, or just come for the race and take in beautiful views of snow-capped peaks. Whatever you choose\, we know that it’s going to be a great weekend!
