The Ride list is below, This coming Wednesday, there is a Summit on Distracted Driving in Phoenix. There will be a ride to the Capitol from Tempe as well as speakers, expo and lunch. This year there are 7 bills in the State House and Senate pertaining to distracted driving, BUT we are being told the Senator Bob Worsley (R-Mesa), Chair of the Transportation Committee, will not allow any to be heard. It does not make any logical sense why he is … Continue reading Community Ride List

The Community Ride List for December 3-10
It’s arrived!!! The month when we don’t have time to do anything because we are doing everything. Holiday Parties, shopping, family, travel, and hours and hours of frustrating time in traffic. With the shorter days and colder weather finding time to ride the Bike can be allusive. Having once successfully ridden 365 days straight, I recommend that you make the bike ride the top priority. Ride as early in the day as possible, if not the days will just slip … Continue reading The Community Ride List for December 3-10
Giving Tuesday
Today is #GivingTuesday. It is so much better in my opinion than Black Friday. It gives us a chance to look around, take stock of what matters to us and help others. Personally, I get that times have been a little challenging for so many of us and that just paying the bills and fulfilling our own household obligations are sometimes hard enough and to think of investing in our community may not be at the top of the list. … Continue reading Giving Tuesday
The most important ride list of the Year
This is the most important ride list of the year. Why? Because more people in Tucson train for El Tour De Tucson and after ride day, put the bike down for months and even years. With the holidays, parties, family, and all the stress that we shoulder this time of the year, it’s easy to hang up the bike. So I’m challenging you to commit now to making cycling a year long commitment. If you are the type of person … Continue reading The most important ride list of the Year

For others, like me, it might be about time to start training;-) I’d like to THANK all who have donated to my ride for a child as well as everyone who has been riding for … Continue reading
NICA High School Mountain Bike Race #5
This year I only made it to one NICA race as my son, Sam, has told me he rides better and his luck is improved when I am not there. Since he was on the podium in the first 4 races and his overall standings were not likely to change in the final race I was given permission to attend. Good news, I have over 1250 photos from the race. CLICK HERE to see all the racing action Bad news, … Continue reading NICA High School Mountain Bike Race #5

Cyclovia Fall 2016
Friends, friends and more friends. That is what I like the most about Cyclovia. I have discovered one huge problem with this event. 10-3 is not long enough. There were hundreds of friends that I could spend 5 hours with each catching up, and to have all the activities on top of that!!! I’d like to propose Cyclovia Week;-) Cyclovia showcases how awesome car free roads can be and how much support this movement has. Thanks Living Streets Alliance for … Continue reading Cyclovia Fall 2016
